3 Interventions To Trigger A Self-Sufficient Local Economy in Chicago's Austin > PDF
By Carlyn So
In a world driven by profit, this design puts faith back into the community and its residents to value existing
assets and foster new ones if given nurturing resources. The design is not a specific physical space nor a
feature. Instead, it takes a multi-faceted approach to community planning and infrastructure. The three
interventions proposed require collaboration between various institutions and organizations, an approach
that is inherently holistic and interconnected.
